Do you want your child to have FUN and be ACTIVE this spring and summer? Get involved in Timbits Softball! It is a fun, action-packed introduction to the game of softball intended for all genders between the ages of 4 and 7 years old (Born 2016-2018 for the 2023 Season). 

Although we won’t be playing the traditional version of softball, we will be participating in a variety of activities and lead-up ‘games’ that will give your child more opportunities to touch the ball and develop the necessary basic skills to enjoy the game. The activities are fun and short in duration and will prepare your child for more advanced competition later in life. 

The Timbits program will tentatively run weekly on either Sunday afternoons at 3:00-4:00 pm or Monday evenings at 6:30-7:30 pm. Your Timbit will enjoy an environment where they have 30 minutes of core skill-building followed by a 30-minute mini-game to allow for exposure to both skills and team play. The season will run from May 7 to June 19, 2023.

A fun-filled tournament will be scheduled near the end of the season. 

The cost of the 7-week program is $100. All players need a glove, helmet, and runners/cleats. Everything else is provided by Nose Creek Softball.

Your child will learn in the seven-week program:

•        Proper throwing technique
•        Catching
•        Hitting
•        Base Running
•        Basic Softball Rules
•        Teamwork
•        Sportsmanship
•        Having FUN
